Sacred Space: The Prayer Book 2010 is the sixth edition of the popular website www.sacredspace.ie. The print edition has also grown in popularity since it was first published in 2004. With five hundred people praying every hour at sacred space, the site was used by some five million people last year.
We invite you to make a sacred space in your day and spend ten minutes praying here and now, wherever you are, with the help of a prayer guide and scripture chosen specially for each day. Every place is a sacred space, so you may wish to have this book in your desk at work or available to be picked up and read at any time of the day, whilst travelling or on your bedside table, a park bench ... Remember that God is everywhere, all around us, constantly reaching out to us, even in the most unlikely situations. When we know this and with a bit of practice we can pray anywhere

The daily scripture readings and reflections are in the Ignatian tradition, but gauged to present day needs.
