About the Author:
Josef Briffa SJ is a Maltese Jesuit priest and archaeologist. He teaches archeology, ancient history and Sacred Scripture at the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Rome and is director of the Pontifical Biblical Institute in Jerusalem, responsible for academic programmes and archeological collections.
